Cassi is an experienced, enthusiastic, writer, poet, and Amherst Writers and Artists workshop leader living in the San Joaquin Valley of California.

She strongly believes, “A writer is someone who writes,” (Patricia Schneider, Writing Alone and With Others)  and “is an AWA Affiliate, certified to lead workshops in the AWA method as described in Writing Alone & With Others by Pat Schneider, Oxford University Press.” Cassi has worked with writers of all ages and levels of ability and disability. 

Cassi recently attended The Yeats International Summer School through a fellowship through the Tuleburg Press and the Sligo Scholars Program in Sligo, Ireland.

She has a degree from the University of California at Berkeley in Comparative Literature, emphasis in English and Spanish, and a teaching credential from San Francisco to teach students with mild to moderate disabillities.
